What is the Black Apron Society?

The Black Apron Society is an invitation-only dining and entertainment club in Toronto. Each season features chef-driven menus, live performance, and a fully hosted experience for approximately fifty members.

How does the application process work?

Guests apply by submitting their dining preferences, interests, and availability. Applications are reviewed for fit, and approved guests receive a private booking link when seats open for the upcoming season.

Is membership limited?

Yes. Each dinner is capped around fifty guests to keep the experience intimate, curated, and cinematic. Membership may be waitlisted once capacity is reached.

What happens after I’m accepted?

Accepted guests receive event dates, ticket details, and next steps. Once your seat is confirmed, we send a full event brief including dress code, arrival instructions, and menu notes before the dinner.

Do you accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions?

Yes. When booking, guests may list allergies and dietary needs. The chef reviews these in advance to confirm what accommodations can be made for that night’s menu.

What is the dress code?

We recommend elevated cocktail or evening attire. The night is designed as a cinematic dining experience — polished, elegant, and camera-ready without trying too hard.
